Can anyone tell me where the instuctions are for fitting/removing the belt please. Thanks Lee

Yep. Here (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/drivebelt.htm) ;) Tompion finds that by pulling the top,long run, of the belt upwards it pulls the tensioner down. If you look at the front of the engine you will see a couple of empty bolt holes. Put a bolt or similar in one and,having pulled the belt up,wedge a piece of wood between the bolt and the tensioner and it will hold the thing in place and you can remove and replace the belt no problem. I did mine a few weeks ago and it was £20 60 inc Vat from my local EBC motor factors. Sometimes there is a query over the length so it is as well to measure the existing belt or take the old one with you. Mine on my 2ltr 16 Ultima is 1900cm.

Thanks SIMMO,i will be using my 2-9 to go on a touring holiday soon, i can see the belt is pretty cracked up, and would not want this to fail when the wife drives it! it,s quite a long belt, as you say best to measure the one on there,
