Title: Boot Internal Trim/Sill surface rust
Post by Kenboy on Mar 17th, 2011, 4:54pm
HI I after discussing problems with sills (Rusting) with local body shop guy, and on this Forum, he explained that the sills would have to be taken back to bare metal, primed, repainted (Stone Chip) and waxoiled he will also undertake in restoring rear wheel arches back to a reasonable condition but explained that this was probably only a temporary measure as the wheel arch fabrication is laminated he explained that to make a reasonable repair he would need to have access into the boot in order to use a lance to waxoil the wheel arches to do this and save in labour I need to remove side fabric trim from inside the boot, can I therefore ask can anyone supply info on removing the trim.

Cheers Kenboy

Cheers Baz I know it was a somewhat daft question but I did have visions of the moulding around the wheel arch area being stuck on with glue as in some cars but fortunately this was not the case and job done.
