Title: Re: Sticky Throttle Post by Simmo on Apr 10th, 2011, 3:59pm If you remove the air intake trunking from the throttle body the butterfly is accessible. The circumference gets mucky and cleaning with carb cleaner sometimes helps. There is a sticker in the throttle body advising you NOT to clean the body as it has a special coating on it. ;) |

Title: Re: Sticky Throttle Post by Mike H on Apr 10th, 2011, 5:57pm Ta that's about what I thought. I wasn't going to use bleach or anything like that! But a bit of a clear out might be in order. http://livinginthepast-audioweb.co.uk/images/misc/th_thumbsup.gif Doesn't do it all the time, only occasionally when been standing for a while. But has been like that on and off for some time TBH |
