Post by Mike H on May 18th, 2011, 7:46am See: http://www.talkford.com/topic/136029-appauling-fuel-consumption/ And: http://www.whatmpg.co.uk/Ford%20MPG%20information.html Google 'ford mondeo fuel consumption' Doesn't seem to be a lot of worthwhile difference compared to a Scorpio |

Title: Re: Mundano running costs? Post by amigafan2003 on May 26th, 2011, 6:03pm Wife has a Y reg Ghia X (2.0) and she averages 28mpg on the commute to work. I take almost exactly the same route in my 27 Scorpio and I'm averaging 19mpg. On a motorway run from Blackpool down to Bognor, we average 38mpg in the Mondeo and 27mpg in the Scorpio. The Scoprio is miles and away the better car - quieter, more comfortable, more stable at speed, much better specced etc. Easliy worth the difference in mpg imo. |
