Anyone know where to get new seals for the sunroof ?

Both my Scorps are suffering from perished/hardened sunroof seals (don't leak though) that are no longer supple enough to let the sunroof tilt & slide (needs a hand).

Tried grease around the seals....works for a while, but isn't really a long term solution though :-/

I dont think the seal could be removed without the metalwork crumbling...it will be very rusty around edges..the seal leaks where it meets the glass above....fordparts uk sell the complete glass section with seal but its fairly expensive; i think around £200...but possibly worth it to restore the sun roof

I bought one a year ago just in case it would go out of production as mine is pretty bad re rust....john

I had a quote off fpuk a few months back for a sunroof, £300 plus vat and it was a back order part

Oh well....who needs a sunroof anyway ? ;)
