The Puma can be got into with the same method, but you need some wire about twice as thick as a coat hanger (around 4mm) with an 'P' shape bent at one end and a 90 degree bend at the hand end  ;)  ..............

This is because once you get behind the interior handle with the 'P' you need to twist the 'P' to flick the handle out, normal coat hanger just bends  ;)

Note for Mods.......... This info is no good to car theives because the Puma has PATS built in to the EECV, so it will not start without the right key  ;)

Cheers Dave

yes they have deadlocks so you cant open the doors if you smash a window.but if you use a small angel grinder on the o/s rear light you can get in and pop the taillgate take out the lock and get the code to cut a new key bit animalish but needs must.

there is no need to resort to such violence to gain access to a LOCKED scorpio . I have a none intrusive method if ever it happens............! NEVER to be given out on here though...;)

Ah, like the old Vauxhalls then,
When it happened to mine it must have only had one press, it was when I first got it, before I stripped it all down to start the project  :)

Guess I just got lucky then...........

I'll check that when the wiring is all back in it  :)

Cheers Dave
