Title: heater pipes
Post by micky5 on Nov 27th, 2011, 12:57pm
i have a slight water leak on the bulkhead end of the heater pipes...there,s two that are connected from there and not leaking, and a third that just sticks out with what appears to be a screwed in "plastic cap" that one seems to be leaking... its not connected to anything as it comes out of the bulkhead, is this right, and is a "plastic cap " in it normal?
ty in advance of any help

Micky, I think you are looking at the 'drain tubes'. Are the inserts red/orange??.  Have a read of This page (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/acdrain.htm) ;)

Definitely sounds like the drain. Time to worry is when it doesn't drip-because the water will end up dripping on your feet ! Been there.
