I don't know what I'm doing in wrong but my third rear view dimming mirror has stopped working in the time I have had the car.

Any reasons why they could keep failing by the time winter comes around again?
My wife's Scorpio has not has to have it's mirror replaced!

Does anybody have a spare working mirror for my car?

Simon. These are very old units now and they simply degrade. The most important thing is to get it off before it leaks and damages the interior trim ....which it surely will. Have you seen This article (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/pcmirror.htm).
