Hi there! Haven't been here for a some time, but we still have our german import ghia+all extras (=ultima) 24v estate. It's parked up in our little workshop during winter as I'd like to save it from the salty roads. (and the leather is sooo cold during swedish winter).

Anyway, we're expecting our third child soon and started wondering if it's easy to replace the 1996 spec rear seat with one from a 1998 spec car, having proper seat belts and headrest in all three back seats? Is it a straight swap or is modifying needed?

What's availability like in UK for such a seat? All 98 spec Scorpios I've seen in Sweden have cloth interior. :(

Our primay drive is a 2.2TDCi 2005 spec Mondeo Ghia X Estate, although we are tempted by the S-MAX, specially a high spec 2010 facelift one if we had the money, but I would really like to keep the Scorpio as our secondary car. As it does very little miles the mpg isn't such an issue...
