Hi all :)
As some of you know we currently have a 2.3 saloon and are trying to upgrade to a 24v estate. Will we notice a real difference in petrol/MPG. We do occasionally go on long motorway runs but mainly around town.

YEP

the cossie does 12 to 16 mpg round town

high 20's low 30's on a motor way depending on how you drive it

If you keep your right foot off the carpet you can expect better than that. Behave and you'll average 25. I do, anyway.

500 mile round trip to sandwell, 24.5 , but not hanging around. I think max I have had is about 27. Its a cosworth, needs to be driven ;D ;D ;D.
