Title: HELP....Spare Wheel panic Post by lesterlad aka Rodders on Jun 9th, 2012, 7:48pm Typical, I have to travel 50mile round trip tonight at midnight to pick the lad up from Download at Donny park and I have just been out to the car and I have puncture on the rear. What I need to know is if I use the steel wheel spare can I use the wheel nuts that are for the alloys as I have no other nuts. There is an image of an alloy wheel nut on the steel wheel along with an exclamation mark ( ! ) but does that mean don't use alloy wheel nuts or it's ok to use them ? ??? |

Title: Re: HELP....Spare Wheel panic Post by lesterlad aka Rodders on Jun 9th, 2012, 8:59pm Thanks buddy, one of the things that was of concern to me was the fact the wheel nut collars were still loose on the steel wheel when the nuts were tight. Your link explains all. Thank you very much. I shall go and pick the muddy lad up in confidence......and stick him in the boot. ;D |
