Title: A quick Question Post by PJDavis on Aug 1st, 2012, 10:07pm What is the designated Manual Gearbox for the Scorpio range, is it with a Hydraulic clutch or cable? What size is the driven-plate? What do they usually go for in good condition? I'm asking for a pal, I prefer Auto-box because I'm an old-fart and wonder why one should move a silly-wee-stick to change gear! ;D |

Title: Re: A quick Question Post by Matt on Aug 1st, 2012, 11:18pm They are all MT75 type boxes Hydraulic working a central thrust bearing Think the clutch is a 1" shaft with 23 splines Flywheel's, 2.0, 2.3 and TD use a dual mass flywheel (about £300 on its own), and im almost sure all 3 are the same. my cossie uses the standard type flywheel from a granada / sierra Expect to pay around £100 - £200 for a box and the seal bearing kit should it need it is another £100 If you doing a hybrid like mine then they go for £300 + You'll need the manual type box mount and the prop is longer then an autos to |

Title: Re: A quick Question Post by Matt on Aug 2nd, 2012, 9:05am the diesel and the later 2.3 are the strongest you could well be correct with the 2.0 flywheel, just looked at clutch kits and they seem to be the 'normal' setup |
