does anyone know the correct drive belt for the cossie as my one snapped, got replacement from local auto factors and the car is squealing like older cars used to when the fan belt needed adjusting thanks will

I believe all the V6s have the same belts,the main belt is 6PK 1420 the aircon is 4PK 1013,these are Gates numbers,the 6 and 4 being the number of grooved,and the 1420/1013 the lengths.Is it the aircon belt that snapped? if so the compressor is seizing up.

thanks for the replies it was the cooling belt that snapped but still a little confused as the above thread say,s the cooling belt is 1380 mm and dosent state how many ribs thanks will

All cooling belts are six rib,the Gates numbers I posted are the belts I always used,there is a slight difference from the Ford size,presumably my factor supplied the nearest Gates belt to my patterns as measured on their telescopic belt sizer.
