I've just bought a 51 plate V6 Cougar, could someone plz ping me the radio code................

Its a 6000 CD RDS

Serial no :- M599861

FDS ees now fixed ;D

Well it wasn't really broked, I think it was just condensation from cold weather not allowing disc to load after changing the nicads ::)

Some numpty didn't read the instructions...........the bit about leavng it powered up for half hour before sticking the disc in :D

I get the opposite every now and then when it will start up but then wont read this disc. I leave the battery out for 10 mins and it loads up as it should.

Ive never seen the option for radio codes though Dave, has yours got that?

Hi Matt,

Simple answer is I don't know, it has leads that will plug into radio, but I've not tried it, saw something on one of the discs about radio codes, tbh I haven't even plugged it into a car yet ;)

Too much "other stuff" going on atm...........

Bad crash at Snowman Rally last Sunday, big enquiry due to a spectator fatality, so lots of paperwork now :'(

Still toing and froing Kent moving the In Laws up here, heading South again tommorrow for last load of furniture, and then when I get back I gotta get their new Log Cabin up as we don't want them in with us for too long ;)

Also desperately need to finish off a few jobs on Puma as I wanna do Fort Augustus Forest in May ;D

If I get time before I head South I might plug it into the Cougar and have a fiddle ;D

Sounds like your fds has a lot more kit with it then mine, i knew i had a few leads missing. Ive never seen a radio option on any disc i have so perhaps you have other data discs?

Did you crash or another driver? Sound nasty either way

Hi Matt,

No it wasn't me thankfully, I was servicing for 2 mates cars from Skye Rally Club.
I helped pull the car off the wee boy, he was ok after stitches and concussion, but the lady the car hit died on scene, hence the event was abandoned.
None of our local cars which I prepped got a run.

The last disc for FDS is 32, which did come with mine, think you've got that................I may have read the discs wrong, but I got 2 that came with it on Ford TIS and FDS.
I have only scanned thru 'em atm, and that was when I first got it ;)
