Title: Clicking from Fuel Pump Relay
Post by wolfblood on May 1st, 2013, 9:14pm
Just replaced the wires connecting the Crank Sensor and the car ran fine for about 20 minutes then died again.

This time the fuel pump relay has started clicking when the ignition is in the on position.

Have tried a second relay from another fuse box I have and it makes the same noise.

I am starting to think it is time to get rid and get a normal car.

What condition is the rest of the wiring loom in ?....It isn't named the 'fuel cut off loom' for nothing  ;)

Any broken insulation with bare wires touching each other, or touching the engine will cause major non-starting/running problems  :)

It's also possible that you may have two duff fuel pump relays  :-/

Good luck  :)
