Post by rodhgv on Jun 28th, 2013, 3:10pm
Hi, Yesterday my average fuel thingy quit,it shows a readout but data doesn't change ,from where does it get the info, which sensor ?. Is it gearbox related.? TYPICAL YORKSHIRE MAN I need to know how much money I'm wasting .

Do any of the other parameters change? (on the fuel computer)-average changes more slowly the further you go
Does your speedo work?
Did you change the loom?

HEYUP GLYNN, This all follows on from my recent loom problem I've fixed the original fault only to manufacture more ,everything on the instruments is ok except average fuel readout and slightly high rev counter ,my ears tell me 7000 RPM instrument says 1200 ,I've changed instruments but still the same .

Wierd Rod. I presume you meant 700 rpm not 7000. I take it the rev counter was ok before the loom change?
