Title: Low Coolant warning light Post by Nunnspoet on Jul 5th, 2013, 8:59am I'm back after a lot of excellent, faultless driving (I mean the car ::) ) in my 24 valve red Cossie Estate. However the "low Coolant"warning light illuminated, so I topped her up but the warning light has stayed on. How do I get it to switch off? Is there a plug that I can access on the tank and where is it? I don't reall want to take the tank off as there are a lot of electricks under it and I am loath to give them a soaking, so I would be gratefull for any advice, thanks. Mike |

Title: Re: Low Coolant warning light Post by Nunnspoet on Jul 10th, 2013, 6:41am :-[. Okay, well here goes. I decided to wash my windscreen yesterday only to find after a few secs. that the tank was empty :o. Daylight dawned in my noddle :-[. I drove home, filled the Screen Washer Bottle, turned on th ignition and guess what. All lights extinguished as they should. Hoots of derisory laughter from my Son a "Humph" and grin from me wife, ::). The Bottle and Screen Washer system is not leaking therefore it's all down to me! Ah well, it's me 70th. soon. Lets hope I remember. Mike 8) |
