I think my rear wiper motor may have packed up on my Scorpio 2.3 Ghia Estate 1998 model. Anything I can do to definitely prove that? Don't believe its the fuse. If it has gone are they easy to source and refit?

The wires for the tailgate electrics go through a rubber tube which goes between the tailgate and the tailgate opening - the wires are flexed each time the tailgate is opened and eventually they can break causing this type of problem - that's the first place I'd check...common problem on Sierras too ;)
