Got lots of little scratches on the windscreen, as if someone has cleaned it with a slightly abrasive 'wash-up' sponge. Its a beast in the direct sunlight, is there a fix like a polish? Or is it out with the centre-Punch and pay the £60 to Insurance?

Back in the 'old days' the way to get scratches out of glass was to use something called 'Jewellers Rouge' - never tried it myself but maybe worth a try before considering 'Option 2' ;D

PJ If you have a look on ebay for glass polishing kits there are numerous,I bought one once because my old Winchester taxi had wiper marks on the screen,it was a laborious operation ::)

I've got scratches on mine caused by grit embedded in the rubber of my old windscreen scraper.
