Title: Re: Wobbly crankshaft pulley Post by ro284 on Nov 5th, 2013, 10:03am Difficult to measure Glyn, i would guess 8 mill deflection, I guess it should'nt be too difficult to get another one, but i think there is a tool that is needed to clamp the toothed ring on flywheel, via the starter motor hole!to replace it, apparently it is a vibration damper, but mine at 18 years old is causing vibration! |

Title: Re: Wobbly crankshaft pulley Post by Scorpabilly on Nov 5th, 2013, 6:47pm I undone mine by wedging a breaker bar between the bolt and the road and "blipping" the starter. Doing it back up tight enough is a different thing! |
