Hi,

Does anyone happen to know any recommendations for a bodywork\accident repairer who might be able to come and inspect a poorly Scorpio in the North Midlands (Lichfield)?

Specifically, someone who might be sympathetic to the fact that it's a Scorpio and not immediately write it off as being 'not economical to repair' as I've had from the high volume shops. It's a Scorp, I might want to spend a little bit extra to get it going again, of course ;)

It needs a replacement driver side wing and bumper mounting point as a minimum.

It's garaged and on SORN, so will have to be inspected in situ.

Really appreciate it if anyone can recommend someone to come and check it out.

I seem to remember that the wings are of the bolt on type so easy enough to do if they are.

The wings are a combination of all three of spot, seam welds and some bolts. They are not straightforward for a novice.

The damage I need inspecting also includes some work needed on the inner wing and bumper mounting point which either needs replacing or brute forcing back into position.

The main chassis beam is absolutely NOT damaged or affected.

Basically, I just need a professional opinion on whether or not it's repairable and if it is, a cost for doing just the wing part so I can get on and do the rest myself.

Have you got any pics of the damage?

Pretty sure ive got a drivers wing if you need one
