I've tried searching but can't find....what is the general advice on roof racks / bars for a saloon? Thinking of carrying two mountain bikes up top.
Anyone up to such shenanigans??

I've just started researching. I've won some Thule square steel bars on eBay - 120cm ones fit the scorp.

I also have a bid on the Thule 754 foot pack. Then I'd need the Thule 1299 adaptor kit as well.

What I'm finding a struglle is a bike rack that will take a ebike as they are heavier than normal bikes.

Get a trailer!
Otherwise every corner will be a heart stopper... I had a roof rack come off once, on a mini r/a/b.
Thankfully it was very early in the morning and there was no-one around.
I spose even two MTBs would be quite heavy. I think I'll fix 'em in the back, rear seat down, and securely anchored. Don't want them doing a fly past in the event of an accident, which is what would happen.

Does the Granada roof rack and bars fit If so I have a set of those. which I would sell if someone needed them.

The Ford rack off my old Granada fits my Scorp which I've used to carry 3 MBs about.
