Check the handbrake is releasing on the rear discs ?

Possible overfueling. Scan OBD and live data on oxygen sensors

i have a portable code reader   it says system too lean bank 1

Bruce. The details are Here (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/cleanmaf.htm). The answer is Carb cleaner. Please note there is no mention of using a hammer, crowbar or similar.  ::) The most important thing is DO NOT TOUCH the filament. Just use the spray to get it clean.  ;D  I guess your problem is probably an air leak as suggested by Scorpio.
