Title: Re: Wishbone Pinch Bolt Post by PJDavis on Mar 17th, 2015, 9:42am It just knocks out. But very often they're seized solid. Ford still do new ones, I got one just the other day. You've got to be careful how hard you strike the bolt/or wishbone because of damage to the ABS sensor. I knew in advance when I was going to do the wishbone, (Just this Sunday passed) so I loosened the bolt and sprayed all round with WD, then soaked a rag in WD and wrapped it around the bolt and area it goes into. Mine still needed to be smacked with a hammer back and forth before it came all the way out using a suitable brass-drift. |
