Does anyone know if a 190mm high battery will fit and still accommodate
the battery cover?

Pushing the boat out there i think, had a spare"Platinum" battery for my cos saloon just a little taller and the clamp wont go over, also the batterty cover is a ssnug fit over the stansdard (I think 178 tall) battery so it wont fit under at the back.

If you do a search for a battery with your index number it will offer a variety of makes.

The height shown on all I have found is 175mm.

I did put in a battery that was bigger, and got the cover to fit, but it was a pain to get it on and the little rubbers at the back of the cover got damaged. I now have the standard size one in.
