hi all, i have been having problems with my scorpio for a week now, and none of the local garages will touch it, apart from ford, who i grudge going to, see my post under problems, idling problems.
anyway, i was wondering who has obd software, and a laptop close to me... if no one is close enough to take my car to, where can i get a lead from? and is it just a case of downloading the software?

im happy to drive to meet someone, but dont really want to drive too far with the car faulty!

think you'll struggle to find anyone near you. i'm in glasgow. i'd travel, say 50 miles or so, if that helps :-/

glasgow i could handle, im pretty stuck up here, nobody will touch it, apart from ford, who i dont get on with, even the local diagnostic people are not keen to go near it.

When would it be suitable for you to do a scan, and we could try to arrange a convenient meeting

I suppose the car needs a check over anyway, even if the current problem is resolved by then!

My normal route to glasgow is A9, A80,M80 into glasgow.... but i can find hampden or anywhere else easily with my new 9000 vnr sat nav!!
