http://www.myscantool.com/order.html theres a few on this web page ..ones only 15$ the other is for fords and is 99$ are the the right ones tho..

hi there

you'd be better of buying the the lead from alex pepper obd-2.com (http://www.obd-2.com).
most of use these one and the VE software. the reason being if you find an error code or something, you can post the scan and we can all look at it (using VE software), and hopefully find an answer.

btw, they cost about the same.

Looks very much like one I bought once from Genden Scantools - it never worked, even after trying it with two different pieces of software.

ok thanks lads ..worth put up in case id stumbled on a cheap alternative.. will get the lead from that web site u put on scorpio man. then ill have the whole kit and can bring it with my lap top o future scorpio meets so we can all benefit,,that way ill learn the real ins and outs of usingit.

the web site obd-2com is very touchy..how the hell does a man actually order the lead???? is the site down cos of usa thanksgiving i wonder?? ijust want a lead..urrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :-[ :-[

Hi Stafford,

you guessed it - Thanksgiving. I think they've been shut for 2 weeks :-/

Should be back next week. Shouldn't be a problem placing order. It'll take 2-3 weeks to arrive (but maybe longer as it Xmas :( )

Hello there
recently went through the "getting set up for obd" myself.
started @ page listed on siter for alex pepper kit.
US site indicated UK dealer Gendan - on whose site I saw AutoEnginuity 4 odb lead & s/ware. I got USB lead so no need to use adapters but recomended OS = 2000 or XP.
Just starting to try it have retreived obd codes but little else - going to activate Ford enhancement pack soon.
Still work in progress so cannot recommend yet - Mac user so having to learn XP as well
