yes it is a manual.
i will be buying it on sataday.
i did an obd scan and found 1270 fault code.
i must have started it up more than 3 times and this fault was still there.
could you tell me if it will clear
or if i should have cleared it , and it woiuldnt have come back ?

hi there

yes, clear the code at the start of the test drive. see if it returns afterwards. should be ok.

sounds like it 'red lined' in 1st gear :-/ as long as you don't do that as a regular thing, it should be fine.

max power is at 5600rpm and max torque at 4500rpm, so you're heading down hill at that rpm :(

i thinks the boys who are selling me the car had been playing with it.
part exchanging my my 97 cossie for a 1999 2.3 i didnt give it a thrashing on my test drive.(pointless)
will do as you say reset and take for another test drive.
