been to auto electricians and had abs/tc scaned guy plugged into car and was able to get part 1 of 2 scan on abs but was not able to get to part 2,the car would not let him in,so ran scan on other systems and could read them no problem.the car has the tc light on all the time and the abs light doesnt come on at all,have had dash out and the abs is not a bulb but some sort of led,so has anyone come across this as car runs out of mot in may.

Shouldn't be an issue as TC is not part of the MOT test (even though it is related to the ABS system) - as long as the ABS light isn't on during normal running it should pass.

However, have you tried disconnecting the TC disable switch? Might just be stuck and disabling the TC each time (which is when the light comes on). The fact that the ABS light doesn't come indicates the sensors and valve block should be okay.

tc and abs lights on all the time....but have bigger problems now as the car has locked me out.......
