Hello chaps.

Im trying to get to the bottom of the meaning of the following code

P1503 Aux speed sensor

Dose anyone know where this is?

Also I cannot to connect to the ford side of the ecu I have used a veriety of scanners tna. sikes , snap on etc

The code i have got here is from the snapon generic obd reader. any ideas what im doing wrong ?

I'm far from an expert with the obd side of things but wouldn't that be the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor)? If it is then its found on the gearbox.

If you have the pre-facelift engine then i'm 99% sure you can't use the full obd from the petrol models as the diesel is more mechanical than electrical.
