Title: Cossie problems
Post by scorpdane on Feb 18th, 2007, 1:31pm
Hi you guys. I have been looking forward to present you with my Cossie problem, 95 with 197 k's. ABS lights on permanently.
OVD light flikkers intermittently. Most k's are done in 3.gear. When sp.needle is zero, sometimes by pressing the brake pedal it will shift up, but only for a short while.
VVS is checked, ABS boks checked and MAF cleaned. The visible looms have been checked.
I boght the car in Germany in Okt.05 and have done 70 k's in it until now with great pleasure. Before I start off to G. again, can any of you experts come up with a solution.
Hopefully Scorpdane

If the traction control lights not on then it may be a faulty front wheel sensor , if the speedo is not working & you say the VSS is ok you need to check the loom through  even for shorts between wires you can use a multimeter for all the above. From the stange faults it could well be loom trouble!
