Title: Re: purchase obd 2 Post by Pegasus on Jun 21st, 2007, 1:13pm Hi Adrian, don't know of any stores in London (rather specialised kit). You can google 'obd2' and gets loads of responses but if you buy from here (http://www.obd-2.com ) you'll be able to post probs and data to be analysed by members that already use this software. It'll take about 2 weeks to arrive and is very reasonable. The choice you need to make is how detailed/flexible you want it to be: do you want to read ABS codes, attach to other makes of car, etc. Look on the OBD threads and this site page (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/homediag.htm) for more info Paul |

Title: Re: purchase obd 2 Post by Frank_White on Jun 26th, 2007, 11:37am Hi Adrian I bought this cable from Alex C Peper. He is the guy who designed the OBD2. this cable has not been used, not even connected. The sofware you download the latest version from his site & use the Software ID that I have for this cable. evry thing else you can get free of charge from Pepers site. Any other questions you can email me or phone. I hope this answers you queries. Regards Frank. email is frankwhite1932@talktalk.net 01303 244903. |

Title: Re: purchase obd 2 Post by Pegasus on Jun 26th, 2007, 1:17pm Adrian, it will work on your car. The cable is from the recommened source. The cable has a serial port connector but if your laptop has USBs you can easily get an adaptor (it may have 1 already). As Frank says, he'll give you the access code then you can download software to your hearts content. Instructions for connecting will come with the cable and more info is given in these pages. Paul |
