Hi Jim,

I offered you a scan a little while ago, but it turned out you had a 12v which couldn't be done with the OBD2.
You must have changed your car have you? In which case I can do a scan for you.

Hi Jim,

If you get stuck, then I can plug my Autel handheld scanner in to see if it shows up any codes.

I work in Brentwood during the evenings, so we could meet at the Halfway House one evening....let me know  ;)

The handheld scanner will display a fault code from the PCM. The code can be looked up in the book that came with it & points you in the right direction  ;)

It's picked up faults in fellow cabbies Mondeo's & Focus's etc & it's given them a good idea as to where the problem lies when taking it to the garage  :)
