Code P1260 = theft detected vehicle immobilized (according to autodata)

Codes are detailed HERE (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/codes.htm) and the list confirms the previous answer. Have you tried to start the car with a 'new' key ? without it being programmed? or done anything else which might cause the system to shut down?.
Have a read of THIS page (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/pats.htm) and see if that helps identify the problem.

Really I have a key without the transmitter. Thanks. By the way as it is possible to remove codes of the alarm system by means of OBD diagnostics.

if using alex pepper lead (obd-2.com).

from enhanced (where you got the code from), click the status tab, then clear code(s).

I will try
