Title: help newbie Post by matt1987 on Nov 14th, 2008, 4:51pm hi i have a 97 r reg scorp 2.3 auto i have a alex pepper lead it had a 16pin d plug at on end and at the other end it has a d plug with two screws that go into my laptop. it has a blue wire i have a ibm laptop running windows xp. i wish to connect to my car but dont know how i have tried before with no joy. i would require help in idiot terms ie links to site and downloads. many thanks matt |

Title: Re: help newbie Post by scorpio_man on Nov 14th, 2008, 5:15pm hi there have a read of ALL the obd pages before messing about. it will give you an idea what it can do. http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/homediag.htm then download the VE software from obd-2.com get the FORD files at the same time. then read some of the posts in this section. happy reading! ;) |
