Title: PWM/ISO combi lead
Post by oz-World on Oct 18th, 2009, 12:08pm
Hi,

I'm looking to purchase a PWM/ISO combi lead, I have a granada scorpio ultima 95 2.5tdi (reg N). or the right lead.

I am having problems with the  ABS, a light is staying on, I have tested the sensors, and changed the modules, fuses etc... and still on, this lead is needed to reset the error codes, can you let me know please

Where, how much and how to pay.

cheers

I’ve yet to find a code that needs clearing – once all faults have been corrected the light will go out.
A lead however does make diagnosing the fault a lot easier.

Some people have trouble connecting to the ABS with the PWM/ISO the tricom lead is a better bet.

You may not be able to connect to the diesel, see here towards the bottom of the table:

cheers for that,

I took it to the garage, they diagnosed two front sensors are faulty, put some new ones on (that was a pain) but the light is still on, garage told me to take the car back, to get the ABS codes reset, so will do tom.

Cheers for your help.

Martyn.

Get them to tell you the number of any codes.

cheers guys.

Thought is had been sorted, now the light goes out, and comes back on around 15mph. have cleaned all the sensors, and still probs.

Garage costing me £50 each visit. any ideas.

Have tested the sensors and readings seem to be okay and the wiring.

Sounds like you have the abs controller problem that needs repairing. Have a look at the problem page on the forum with the heading "abs light staying on". All the info is there.  Lee
