Title: What Software to use?
Post by Matt on Apr 14th, 2011, 6:19pm
Heya all

I got hold of an OBD lead a while ago off a kind member, but never had any software to try it with

ive been looking at the touch scan programme, anyone have any experience with it?

Any recommendations (not just for a scorpio) or programs to stay clear of?

Hi Matt
I use the software here http://www.obd-2.com/ but it will only work if you have an Alex Pepper lead.
thanks
Tony

I've got a fair bit of different software winging its way to me to try, mainly for remapping, but some of it claims to be able to Datalog and read OBD, ABS Airbags etc etc as well.................

Bought an Innovate W/B Lambda Kit last week  ;)

Also just procured an FDS 2000 for a very reasonable 50 quid  ;D

If the FDS won't Emulate I'll be buying an Emulator too.................

I'm just sick of all the old b@ll@cks surrounding this remapping of EECV...............

I know it can be done, it's only reflashing a ROM after all, but as usual so many of the so called "specialists" just talk tosh about the subject, because they are making it up as they go along  ;)

Watch this space  ;)

Cheers Dave
