hi there

just surfing though the site and noticed that the derby meeting was this time last year! what a quick and eventfull year on the site/forum! ;)

derby meet. sadly missed. :'(

totally agree andrew,and as far as i know the pub has now been sold to a developer,so,as you so rightly say,that must be the last nail in the coffin for that one..

But we can all go to Harewood instead, so thats ok isnt it.

derbu was great but Harewood is as well.

Maybe next year we can find somewhere new to replace it.

I will think about doing something in the Northwest/central england next year, but that is NOT a promise. Harewood is not to be missed, I WILL be there. Its FATHERS day !

Derby was a fair distance for us to travel up to, just as it was for some of you guys too. But I did enjoy it. It was great to finally meet a lot of people I'd been 'chatting' to on here. And I felt that some decent friendships were forged there too.

And yes, what a quick year its been :o
