Title: Congratulations Liverpool
Post by DJWerkz on May 25th, 2005, 10:45pm
...and this comes from a Manchester United fan!

Just wanted to say what an inspiring performance Liverpool gave after being 3-0 down to keep their heads high and pull the game back to 3-3 and then keep their nerve to win the penalty shoot-out.

Brings back many fond school-boy memories of when Liverpool were the UK's 'Red Machine'!!

Well done, enjoy your title,...EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS 2005

firstly, to Lee and the lovely county of Cambridgshire, if i sounded a bit disrespectful  i do appologise :'( but if it was a team from Huntingdon or March it may raise your interest , for better or worse i live in the city which lives for football and has`nt had great success over the last few years untill the other night so people do feel passionate about winning over the best teams from france england ,germany ,italy etc, My first love is motorsport , anything with an engine and a driver is usually to me more exciting than football but that was a game to be remembered for many years to come. So if you ever feel like a trip up North i will personally pay to take you to a L.F.C game and maybee Oulton park next day to try and change your mind, Cheers Lee .......Ian          P.S Mr Dart  agree about Arbor , and White Scar caves Yorkshire ...over priced and over rated. :D Although impressive all the same  ;)
