My little lad goes to all the thomas the tank engine steam days at East lancs railway. We also do some of the general steam days. I love them and have since I was a little lad when we had a steam railway shed near where I lived and my great uncle drove them for BR.

I will definately have a look, cheers Ren

I do like the opening page.....this is a photo I took of Duke of Gloucester when me and Connor went for a day out and took a ride on her a few months ago

could smell the steam off that pic
Takes me back to my steam days i was a Fireman with BR
on the G W R at Stafford road loco sheds wolverhampton
Pete Waterman was there too until they closed it then we
moved down to Oxley loco i left BR in 1965 when that too
was scheduled to close,my last day of working mainline
was fireing Evening Star from Banbury to wolverhampton
which was a bit ironic b/c that was the last steam engine
built at Swindon works

Thank you Dart that is the first time I have been commended for a photograph. Mind you, the little 'un was supposed to be on it as well!!

and I was a train spotter but now I have a scorpio and I am in a club and we meet up and things and make notes when we see other scorpios and post it to a website....sounds strangely familiar

About the other point, Yes,get what you mean,
But it's good to be sad if it makes you happy ;D ;D
