hi, hope someone can come up with a good answer for this, its driving me crazy!

I have approx 6000 LEGAL mp3s on my external hard drive, and when i use wmp to search for new tracks, it adds ALL the tracks that have been added already, which doubles every entry. Some titles are showing 6 entries for the same song, etc...

How do i cancel all the titles in the library, so i can start again, and just add them in once?

Or can anyone recommend a good media player other than wmp 10?

Media Player 9 or 10.?

Guess you can mark the first and the last one, holding down the button ABOVE Ctrl...and delete them all....

BUT, check in options - library, the box for : "delete files from computer when deleted from library." is not active...

thanks guys, i fdeletes everything from the library, and then searched for it all again... seemed to work!

donnie..
i installed it after visiting the bbc website,to listen to the radio,or playback certain things,you had to use it,have kept it on the pc ever since,easy to use,comes in handy,quite easy to rip and burn etc.etc.
download it,give it a go,after all,you never know

WinAmp is the best media player in my opinion. Cant stand WMP!

I also use WinAMP, verry fast and easy to use and it's free, can make playlist, ques, crossfades, supports a lot of "skins" and enhacments.
