Just sitting watching WRC live and got the tragic news thet Michael Park, co-driver to Marko Martin has been killed in an accident on stage 15 of the Wales Rally GB. Martin's car left the road and hit a tree killing Park outright. Peugeot have withdrawn the 307 of Markus Grundholm as a mark of respect and ther rally will finish with all drivers being given a scratch time for SS15 and head back to the finish.

I remember meeting Park on the Scottish Rally in 1994 when he co-driven Mark Higgins and he was a truly decent bloke.

My thoughts and prayers go to his wife and family at this tragic time, they must be going through hell.

a very sad loss to his family and the world of WRC.

sebastian loeb, full respect due to this guy. puposely took a 2 min penalty, to avoid winning in such tragic circumstances.

i can only agree with the comments from nic/scorpio_man

R.I.P Mr Michael Park.

Solberg dont want to win like this eather...
