bloody hell i bet that took some sweeping up! No bare feet on that grass verge for a while!

As for the Jamieson van, well i expect he/she tried to panic-overtake as overtaking lane ended (so he wouldnt be stuck behind slow vehicles for another 30miles!) and ran out of room, hit other car rear end or vice versa + spun :o

Guys,
Take a close look, I can see at least three intact bottles on the road and a crate with about eleven intact bottles and thats just in the foreground of the pic.
This may have been a blessing in disguise if the locals insisted on helping clear up due to their community spirit or some other equally poor excuse ;D

There's enough unbroken bottles if you at the crates close enough to a real good party or just get "Wasted" on your own!
