Title: Penguin has written a book!
Post by Penguin on Mar 10th, 2006, 11:48pm
Dear all

I thought I would indulge in a bit of shameless self-promotion here.  :D

I've written a book and with no time on my hands to hawk it round traditional publishers I have put it up for sale at:

www.lulu.com/content/246760

Feel free to drop by, read the blurb, downloand the preview and - if you really want to - buy it.  I wish I could tell you whether or not it was any good but since I wrote it I wouldn't be objective enough...  ;)

Cheers

Penguin

PS - Makes no difference to my cut if you download it or order a printed copy - the ten bucks extra is entirely the cost of printing and is not set by me.

Hmm,.. :-/...references to mirrors (possibly attrached by his own reflection), and the title of wardrobe,...is this a coming out of the 'closet' love story by chance?

I am into more Kathy Reichs crime drama's, the Daziel and Pascoe book's are good too, better than the TV series, although I love the TV series, plus I finally just got round to reading the third in the Jason Bourne series, The Bourne Ultimatum a few months back, that was excellent (although the movies have killed the whole story so not sure how they are going to shoot the third movie).

"Mirror" is meant in the psychoanalytical sense and "wardrobe" in the actual sense if that helps.

I'm more of a non-fiction bod , good luck with it  though,   is   it   Movie   Adaptation  material ?    that's the way to make the big bucks.

Margaret Mitchell only wrote one book, Gone with the Wind, she  didn't  need  to  write  another,   why bother ?   ( she  was  run  down  and  killed  crossing the road   I  believe ).
