Title: WELL GOT THE REPLACEMENT...
Post by craig on Apr 14th, 2006, 12:34pm
well me and amanda travelled down to bournemouth yesterday to view a possible replacement for the  beloved scorpio, and after a test run,the wife decided it was the one to have,4.7 V8,ok its not going to be to everyones taste, but all you all know,we had to plan ahead ...
here she is here....

got to empty the scorpio a little, and transfer the registration number over,so the car will be going on ebay in the next fortnight or so,will be very, very sad to see it go,but the jeep does have most of the comforts of the scorpio, and a few more......

you wont be getting rid of me that easily though, this in my opinion is still THE BEST car site on the web,and i will continue to look in and input where i can,a big,big thanks to everyone that has helped me in the past, and to all the great friends i have made on here,as i have all your email address's,you bet i will keep in touch, thanks again everyone, and make sure you all the scorpio's in tip top condition, and most of all on the road where they belong..... :'( :'(

No need for tears Craig. Its a move that had to be made eventually.
I hope all goes well for you with the new motor (and with everything else as well).
And as you say, there's nothing to stop you sticking around. You know the car inside out and can offer loads of good advice.
All the best mate.   8)

What you need now is a set of cow horns mounted on the hood and some cowskin seat covers my friend - Yeeehawww !!!

They sure cut down on the amount of jaywalkers trying it on..

no different than a VNR then really }{ }{..
dont have the sat nav in ours, everything else (including a brilliant gold infinity stereo system),but will obviously still miss the scorpio, has had some top memories for us both, and when it does sell,i will point the new owner in this direction,(or maybe he's already here  :-/)....
