hi think this would be snoopys or admin subject.been on and of site since 2002,never believed in star system, or titles so i always delete membership,and re join,is there an easier way to do this as it takes longer and uses up some ones time on admin side checking data on rejoining,like can you reset counter for certain members to stay at newbies.or do i do as i have always done,sign out and re join. thanks stan

Not really sure why you insist on things that way either. :-/

hi there

as you post, your count will go up. after a while, you could look like some kind of expert on scorpio's (as in my ranking).

some people might think you know what you're talking about and follow your instructions, maybe making a problem even bigger!

now i'm not saying it happens often, but some people reply to everything, hence the subject of this posting.

why do you make sutch a big deal out of the ranking sytem.? All forums got them, and if u dont like them just dont mind them, only thing the ranking tells is who`s got most time on theyr hands to sitt in front of the PC... ;D

So nobody cares if u have one star or four stars... (exept for scorpio-mans examle. ) ;)

Had a reply on this subject.It can be done,but will be left as is.As most members like the star system.Which is fair enough and answers my question fully. 10/10 for observation andrew ;)but ur not getting another gold star for it. stan

Of course if you think about it, every post is not an answer so a large number of posts could mean a large number of questions (me) ;)

Therefore it could also be said that a large number of posts could mean less knowledge not more :)

Maybe the rating system should be -1 for a question and +1 for an answer ;)

I take everyones advice on board, whether they have 1 post or 2000, every little helps :)

I like the option some boards have that allows other users to give feedback or 'karma' - this way you get a score based on how useful you have been to another user! Don't think yabba supports this feature though!

And then there are always the people - - - like me, who didn't even know what the stars were for or even noticed them DOH ! ! !
