We used to do all the racing metros for Datapost and Everest double glazing; driven by such stars as Steve Soper!! Believe me, you would be amazed at the speeds and acceleration that is attainable from a souped up 1.3 metro engine!! |

Post by cossie_al on Apr 28th, 2006, 12:02am Baz I do believe you When I left school I whent on a yts job in a garage where my mentor was an amateur rally driver normally he raced a mk2 escort but he trashed that and borrowed a turbo metro jobbie and I was invited to copilot :o as his normal guy was on his hols. deffinately a brown pant moment ;D |

Post by Snoopy on Apr 28th, 2006, 6:57am Its true we have a Special metro( and road legal ) It has got 170 BPH and revs to over 8 k Fuly mapped engine management by emerald balanced flywheel ,LSD so and we can leave tyres marks in every gear .
