The 24v has no battery cover though, might not turn out that much of a bargain ;)

I love that bit on the scorpio listing about "no timing belt to worry about"...........er nope, just two chains with the habit of snapping and causing £1000+ of damage to worry about instead!!

the speedo pic could be a bit confusing as it is around 40,000 miles less than his advertised 130,000. very naughty

Don't look too shabby for a 24v does it?

I'd been doing some motorway driving before taking the picture, so had quite a high figure going on.

What gear where you in for that rpm/speed?

afterthought...... please don't reply with Tee shirt and shorts because just realised I left myself wide open for that answer. ;D ;D

Honestly, I can't remember. I'd have to have another go to check for you ::) ;)

But I do remember that the overdrive was flicked off and it was in Sport mode. Oh, and being booted!
2nd gear maybe? No, third. Oh I dunno :-/

Better be careful though Paul; persecuting motorists is their current top priority and you've given them photographic evidence to add to what you said!

Would imagine you'll be getting a summons any day now - best thing to do is pretend you're an asylum seeker with no license for them to endorse - you'll get off easier that way... :-/

Yeah, that's it... I took it on a rolling road.
Well, I was rolling along the road. Close enough! ;)
Just for clarification, it was the A2070

Anyway, I don't recommend anyone else does this of course. Its really rather dangerous. And its difficult too. Can't see where the needle is exactly, compared to when the shutter clicks. Oh, and you're trying to look where you're going at the same time ::)

And I did check that there was no Old Bill about too ;)
