Title: Here to stay Post by sector-9 on Jul 3rd, 2006, 6:48pm Looks like I'm lumbered with my car, which in turn means you're stuck with me! Now the ABS light has gone off and stayed off for a few days I'm going to risk keeping it (hope it won't need much for MOT); of course, in typical Scorp fashion something else has broken now to maintain the status quo... :'( Darren |

Title: Re: Here to stay Post by mr._floppy on Jul 3rd, 2006, 8:58pm Good for you , but if you feel like pushing the old girl over a cliff and you've £1700 to spare, check out E-Bay No. 180002745467. 6 year old and 24K miles. Ok, it's not to everyone's taste, but neither is The Scorpio. A fine big saloon with all the Gizmos. 12 hours to go, I'm keeping my eye on it. |

Title: Re: Here to stay Post by sector-9 on Jul 3rd, 2006, 10:18pm If I had a couple of grand to spare I'd buy a Discovery or a Rover 75! Good luck with bidding though if you do - I had a brand new Hyundai Santa Fe as a hire car for a fortnight. Was nice to drive and had 5yr warranty, but it couldn't disguise the fact it felt cheap inside (switchgear, plastics, etc.) Looking at the ebay pics I think this might be the same, still, you don't buy a car based on how the switches feel...
