Title: This is clever! Post by Spannerdemon on Jul 13th, 2006, 11:39am This was sent to me by a friend earlier today. Left click on any square, and then again. As the picture grows, it becomes more and more interesting. must have taken days to put this together, but very clever. It seems to be virtually endless. http://interact10ways.com/usa/information_interactive.htm Enjoy :D |

Title: Re: This is clever! Post by Kjetil S on Jul 15th, 2006, 3:36pm Actually.. no ;D All they probably did was use a color to picture conversion, where one specific color corresponds to a specific picture. If they limit the colors to 256, then that shouldn't be too much work. Then they let some computer program replace the each pixel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pixel) with a full picture. Would take a couple of hours by a skilled person :) |

Title: Re: This is clever! Post by Kjetil S on Jul 15th, 2006, 10:11pm }{}{}{ Basicly that it's done more or less automaticly. It's not that much work to create ;D |

Title: Re: This is clever! Post by jonnycab on Jul 16th, 2006, 1:15am Still nothing...just a black square with white edge, on a black screen & a box that says "click to run an activeX control on this web page" ??? |

Title: Re: This is clever! Post by Spannerdemon on Jul 16th, 2006, 9:38pm Hi Jonnycab: You possibly don't have Macromedia installed, which will let you see this. Either click on the black screen that you can see, (that's what it's looking for, an active control), and it will install it for you, or get it here: (Free) http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi Then try it again. Well worth a look. I haven't forgotten your help, and the new ECU continues to run great! Thanks again :) :) |

Title: Re: This is clever! Post by jonnycab on Jul 17th, 2006, 10:26am Now I'm getting confused. I clicked spanners link & clicked 'Install now'. It goes to the download page & the same box appears that says 'click to run an activex control on this page'. I click on it & thats it...nothing happens, no download, no nothing. ??? |
||
Title: Re: This is clever! Post by Spannerdemon on Jul 17th, 2006, 6:27pm SHOULD work. If you've downloaded the macromedia player, and then Clicked (on the black box), try double clicking as well, when it tells you to, it should start to load. Does take a minute or so, so perhaps you haven't waited quite long enough? Can't think what else to suggest. :o |

Title: Re: This is clever! Post by Dave on Jul 18th, 2006, 10:39am Maybe security settings on a firewall or virus scan are preventing it from running, or browser security settings are too high to allow it. |
